February, 2014 taken at the finish of the River Runner 140. On the final run from Braeburn to Takhini it got down to -43C as evidenced by the frosty dogs and musher. In lead here are Walter and Simba. Annie, Hansel and Gretel are also in the picture.
This year our racing plans include the Knik 200 and the Yukon Quest 1000. The Quest has been a long term goal that will finally be realized this year. I've been building a young group of dogs and this will be their first major race. I'm hoping to run the race with a mix of young dogs and some veterans. I'm so excited to see the Quest trail and to share the experience with them.
